Dr Nutan Anya Patel has 16 years of general medical experience and has been a GP for nine years, with a strong focus on patient-centred, preventative healthcare. She qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2010 and completed her GP training in London, before moving back home to Manchester. 

She has a keen interest in diabetes management and women’s health, and is known for her compassionate approach, clinical expertise, and ability to really listen.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Nutan Anya Patel is a partner in an NHS GP practice, where she plays a key role in delivering high-quality, community-based care. She also carries out appraisals for other GPs, supporting professional development across the sector, and contributes her skills to a children’s hospice, providing care and support in one of the most sensitive and meaningful areas of medicine. She is also a GP trainer, committed to training and education of future GPs.
